Overview
A 3 phase servo motor driver is a control device used to drive a three-phase servo motor. Servo motor, as the closed-loop control system in the executive element, through the encoder feedback position and speed information, to achieve accurate position, speed and torque control. The 3 phase servo motor driver is the 'commander' of this control process, which is responsible for receiving commands from the host controller and converting them into the electrical signals required to drive the motor, thus realising the precise control of the motor.
Working principle
1. Power conversion: convert the input AC power supply into DC power suitable for servo motor drive, and then adjust the voltage and current through PWM and other technologies to meet the needs of the motor in different working conditions.
2. Signal amplification and processing: Receive the control signal from the upper controller, process it through the internal processor, analyse it and generate the PWM waveform to control the motor.
3. Closed-loop control: the encoder detects the position and speed information of the motor in real time, compares it with the preset target value, and adjusts the error in time, so as to realise the precise control of the motor.
4. Protection and safety: It has protection mechanisms for over-current, over-voltage, overheating, etc. to ensure that the motor can be shut down safely and timely under abnormal conditions to avoid damage.
