The autonomous warehouse robot's ultrasonic sensor is used in conjunction with an infrared sensor to better fulfil the positioning function. Autonomous warehouse robot's ultrasonic sensor uses ultrasonic waves, a mechanical wave, to detect objects. The working principle of the ultrasonic sensor is that the sensor emits ultrasonic waves and receives signals reflected back from the target, and the distance between the autonomous warehouse robot and the target is calculated by measuring the round-trip time of the ultrasonic waves and the speed of sound. Through the detected distance of the obstacle ahead, the autonomous warehouse robot can adjust its travelling route in time to avoid collision with the obstacle. The advantages of ultrasonic sensors are mainly ① Not affected by light, ultrasonic sensors can be used in a weak light or completely dark environment. ②Capable of long-distance measurement and wide measurement range. ③ Relatively low cost, easy to integrate into the autonomous warehouse robot system.
