The working principle of AGV forklift (automatic guided vehicle forklift) mainly includes positioning and navigation, path planning, obstacle avoidance and safety, material handling, communication and coordination, etc.
Positioning and navigation
AGV forklift perceives the surrounding environment through built-in navigation systems and sensors (such as laser, infrared, ultrasonic, etc.). Common navigation methods include laser navigation, magnetic stripe navigation, inertial navigation and visual navigation. Laser navigation measures the distance and position of objects and the ground through laser radar to achieve navigation and positioning; magnetic stripe navigation determines the position by detecting the magnetic field signal generated by the magnetic stripe laid on the ground; inertial navigation uses sensors such as gyroscopes and accelerometers to calculate the position and speed through an integral algorithm; visual navigation captures environmental images through cameras and uses image processing technology to identify landmarks or features to determine the position and driving path.
